Concerned 2: A Concerned Rip-Off

The Continuing Adventures of Gordon Frohman

Updates

Issue_058

Posted by Norman Black on April 20, 2010 at 2:26 AM

And just when you thought it was over it comes back like a bad rash that you thought you took care of with all those medications you spent hundreds of dollars on. I don't really know why I didn't update in so long. I'm just really lazy.

In case you don't get it, Frohman mistakes the ashes (created by the Combine burning the dead citizens) falling from the sky as snow.

You people are getting entertainment for free. If you were paying for it, then yes, you would have a right to complain. But you aren't. If you're too impatient to wait for a new comic, then piss off and make your own.

I tried. It didn't end well. Turns out, blowing stuff up and making stuff fight on Garry's mod is, to me, far too distracting.

Exactly (though my comment was largely directed at Freeman).

Wow, two months without an update. I really hope he has a better excuse this time than just laziness.

If you're not content to wait, bugger off and make your own. Some people do have this thing called "real life" that sometimes interferes with giving free entertainment out of your own time to ingrateful gits on the internet.

Then again, that comment only counts when someone is ACTUALLY giving entertainment.

I'm an author. I used to update with relative frequency, but due to writer's block followed by a depression I haven't updated for almost a year. However, whenever someone complained that I took too long to write something out of my own free will, my own spare time and, out of the goodness of my heart, put it up for others to watch, I'd give them a response along the lines of "Screw you, you complain about it being two weeks since my last update? Now it's going to be three weeks." Complain about the quality of the art, give constructive criticism about how to improve it, fine. Complain about the time it takes to make the art and you're just a moron.

I must say, it's too bad that you lack resources for continuing on the comic but I'm at least happy that you made it this far. I hope you get out of the depression soon and find new inspiration to work on it again, or some other funny stuff. Cheer up!! : )

This is it baby, 4 months without an update, due to the extreme lazyness of Norman Black we're not going to see another comic in a long, long.long time..........
I don't care if this shit is free and because of that he has the right to do this, Livingston never took this so long, and he did the comic FOR FREE to, Nunca pagé un centavo por ello.

And I quote: "You people are getting entertainment for free. If you were paying for it, then yes, you would have a right to complain. But you aren't. If you're too impatient to wait for a new comic, then piss off and make your own."

So what if Livingstone didn't take this long? Look up VGCats. They take a while, but nobody with any sense cares because if VGCats wanted to, they could just stop without warning and you would have no right to complain.

"However, whenever someone complained that I took too long to write something out of my own free will, my own spare time and, out of the goodness of my heart, put it up for others to watch, I'd give them a response along the lines of "Screw you, you complain about it being two weeks since my last update? For all you know, maybe he was hit by a car or something? Stop whinging. You're making yourself look like an arrogant arse only interested in your own entertainment.

And you look like a lazy moron. If something hapened to him, why nobody tells it?
Btw, you're an author? Of what?

You're right on "You're complaining just because i took 2 weeks more" thing, but this shit took 16 weeks, 4 months.
