Concerned 2: A Concerned Rip-Off

The Continuing Adventures of Gordon Frohman

Episode 1 - Chapter 3: No Life

So because of the lack of updates recently, I decided to try to make it up to your guys by posting another comic on the same week. Such an act has been unheard of and will spawn many legends about how this site once was updated so frequently in one week that the universe almost imploded, requiring Chuck Norris to save the very fabric of space-time from tearing apart. In the developer commentary from Valve, they talked about the lack of the G-Man in Episode 1. They claimed that after the appearance of the Vortigaunts on top of the Citadel, and the actions that took place during Episode 1, that the G-Man somehow lost track of Gordon Freeman and was unable to find him again until Episode 2. My version is that he just hates the underground section of Episode 1 and doesn't want to follow Gordon Freeman back down there. But he will go back down there just to escape from Frohman.

I'm really bad with giving out criticism, as you can tell, so I can't really say much about the visuals. Good job, but it needs more humorous close-ups. Of course, they require more work, but life is tough. As for the jokes, well, I already said what I needed to, so I'll just repeat myself: the humor needs sort of a darker edge and most of all, the punchlines and gags need to be a bit more creative.

Gosh, I sound like I'm telling you how to do things now... but that was not my intention. Just my two cents about this great comic.

But I'm hopeful to see more updates!
